Johannesburg – Popular Amapiano singer Thato Raphadi, better known by her stage name Thatohatsi, has issued a heartfelt apology after missing several scheduled performances over the weekend, including the highly anticipated Red Bull Symphonic event on June 7.

In a statement , the Xolele hitmaker explained that she was compelled to cancel her appearances due to a sudden illness that left her without a voice.

“I, Thatohatsi, regret to inform you that due to an unexpected illness, I have temporarily lost my voice and was unable to perform at the Red Bull Symphonic, Market@theSheds, and Drama Hatfield PTA,” she said.

The singer expressed sincere remorse to her fans, event organisers, and sponsors for the inconvenience caused. She added, “I truly appreciate your understanding during this challenging time. I am committed to rescheduling or working with the promoters to find a suitable alternative once I have recovered. I can’t wait to see you all soon.”

Fans and supporters have shown their support and well-wishes for her swift recovery, hoping to see her back on stage soon. Meanwhile, her team is working on rescheduling her upcoming performances.
