After an unsuccessfully four month stint, the Botswana side Black Lions FC has parted ways with South African coach Owen Da Gama.
In a statement Black Lions Football Club confirmed the departure of their coach Da Gama, citing that the club and coach had reached an agreement to part ways.
“Black Lions Football Club has parted ways with Head coach Owen Da Gama.
Black Lions FC wishes to inform its stakeholders, supporters and the general public that the club has amicably parted ways, by a mutual agreement with Head coach Owen Da Gama,” Black Lions FC stated.
After a 2-1 defeat against Nico United, Black Lions FC remained on 10th position, with 13 points in 14 matches, 19 points behind log leaders Gaborone FC.
Black Lions FC is a home to former Dulibadzimu United forward, Morris Musamba who joined the club earlier in August.
Musamba joined the club after being invited on trials with former teammates Ephany Gwavava, Patrick Kelly Muleya, Mike Nezungai, Messi Gushero and Benedict Sithole.
