The draw for CAF African School Championship COSAFA qualifier set to kick off from December 5 to 7,2025 in South Africa has been concluded, producing extremely exciting fixtures.

The single draw covers both the Boys and Girls events.

Zimbabwe are the top seed in the four-team Group A and will take on Namibia, Mozambique, and home side South Africa in their pool.

South African boys and girls have successfully won the last three editions of this competition, and this time, backed by the home crowded, they look to secure a fourth in a row.

Comoros will take battle against Zambia and Eswatini in the Three Team Group B while Botswana will face Malawi and Lesotho in Group C.

Our Zimbabwe U-15 Boys and Girls are in Group A alongside South Africa, Namibia, and Mozambique.
A competitive pool, but a fantastic opportunity for our young stars to learn, grow, and showcase their talent on the regional stage and earn their place at the Continental Finals in 2026”, ZIFA said in a statement.

The tournament is set as a qualification for the continental finals scheduled to be played in 2026.

According to the Confederation of African Football, the winners of the CAF African Schools Football Championship COSAFA Qualifier this year will receive USD 100,000, with the runners-up taking home USD 75,000, and the bronze medallists getting USD 50,000.

The CAF African Schools Football Championship was launched in 2022 as the brainchild of the CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe, with the Motsepe Foundation providing a USD 10-million investment into the competition.
