Former Golden Boot winner Lynoth Chikuhwa has signed a one-year contract with Chicken Inn Football Club, solidifying his return ahead of the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.

According to ZimSports Flash, The move follows a successful loan spell during the second half of the 2025 campaign, during which Chikuhwa impressed the club’s technical team and re-established himself under the guidance of coach Tonderai Ndiraya.

Chikuhwa’s time at Scottland FC had been turbulent, as the striker struggled for form and consistency. However, his reunion with Ndiraya with whom he worked during a previous stint at the Mabvuku based outfit appears to have reignited confidence and familiarity, leading to a swift agreement on the permanent switch.

The former Highlanders FC forward is expected to play a key role in Chicken Inn’s attacking setup, as the club looks to challenge for top honours in the 2026 season.

His return could mark a new chapter in his career, with fans hopeful he can replicate the form that earned him the 2024 Golden Boot.
