Community members gathered on Saturday, February 14 , to celebrate love and learn about building stronger families as DJ Shimza hosted his 8th Couples and Singles Seminar under the theme “Understanding Marriage and Relationships 2.”
The Valentine’s Day event brought together people of different age groups and featured a panel of speakers that included pastors and relationship mentors.
The seminar focused on guiding attendees on how to nurture their families, strengthen relationships, and develop healthy communication within marriages and partnerships.
Speaking to Ziyah News Network, Shimron Sibanda, popularly known as DJ Shimza and host of the event, described the seminar as a great success.
“The seminar was well attended by people from different age groups. We covered key topics such as tolerance and understanding among couples, and empowering single parents to live dignified lives,” he said.
One of the panelists shared practical advice on raising children as a single parent, offering encouragement and real-life strategies to help families overcome challenges.
Attendees were given tools to improve communication, build trust, and support one another in their relationships.

Participants celebrated love and unity in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere for learning and reflection.
Shimza said this marked the eighth seminar organised by his team and expressed pride in its growing positive impact on the community.
