Angelight Enterprises PVT LTD has been convicted for operating illegally in violation of the Petroleum Act. The company appeared before the Rusape Magistrates’ Court after being found guilty of running a fuel service station without a valid license.

National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe reports that, the illegal operations were uncovered on November 12, 2024, in Nyazura, where the company was selling petroleum products without the necessary authorization.

The court’s ruling underscores the importance of compliance with regulatory standards in the energy sector.

As a consequence of their actions, the accused was ordered to pay a fine of USD 500.

Should the company fail to comply with the payment, its property will be subject to attachment.

This case highlights ongoing efforts by authorities to enforce regulations and ensure that businesses operate within the legal framework.
