Beitbridge-A First Class Bus traveling from Johannesburg to Harare was involved in a minor accident on the Beitbridge A4 road this morning, around 07:00, when its trailer disengaged and overturned.
Fortunately, there were no casualties on the bus and most of the goods in the trailer were reportedly undamaged.
One of the passengers who spoke to our news crew said; “We were shocked when the driver told us that the trailer had disengaged from the bus. Fortunately, none of the goods were damaged, and more importantly, no one was injured.”
The incident occurred just after the bus had left the border area .Luckily, there were no vehicles or pedestrians approaching from behind as the trailer could have caused a potential vehicle pile-up.
