Highlanders Football Club has officially unveiled five new signings as the Bulawayo giants look to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League campaign.
According to Zimsports Flash Updates , the five new additions are attacking midfielder Mongameli “Smaller” Tshuma and defender Tawanda “Tawaz” Shenje, both from Hwange FC, promising midfielder Royn Nyamono from Bikita Minerals, goalkeeper Pride Zendera from Chicken Inn, and Rayton Chuma, who is believed to be linked with NUST.
Tshuma, who played a key role for Hwange in 2025, returns to Highlanders as a creative force in midfield.
Shenje, a 24-year-old defender known for his versatility and composure at the back, also joins from Hwange, adding depth to the Bosso defence.
Nyamono, just 18 years old, arrives from Bikita Minerals and is tipped as one of the most exciting young midfield prospects in the country.
His move signals Highlanders’ intent to build for the future.
Zendera, formerly with Chicken Inn, brings experience between the posts, while Chuma’s inclusion appears linked more to the club’s community and academic partnerships, particularly through NUST, rather than a direct player transfer.
The unveiling of these players marks a busy transfer window for Highlanders, who are determined to mount a serious title challenge this season.
