The 2024 Premier Soccer League Champions Simba Bhora have unveiled three new signings in goalkeeper Tonderai Mateyaunga, defenders Carlos Mavhurume and Kelvin Gwao.
The Shamva based sided pursued 31 year Tonderai from Caps United, Mavhurume (Ngezi Platinum) and Gwao from Manica Diamonds to reinforce and strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025 PSL season and their CAF Champions League campaign.
The 28 year old Mavhurume signs for Simba Bhora after an impressive two year stint with Ngezi Platinum. Mavhurume played a crucial role in the Ngezi Platinum defence, helping the team to clinch their first ever league title in 2023.
During his stint with Caps United which lasted over 5 years , Tonderai cemented his name amongst the better goalkeepers in the PSL.He is famously known for his incredible triple save which helped the Green Machine edge Yadah FC one nil at Rufaro Stadium last season.
Elsewhere, Scottland has continued its spending spree securing the signature of 27 year old Marvelous Chigumira who was a free agent and Tymon Machope from Simba Bhora. Scottland has now made over 11 new signings ahead of their debut season.
On the other hand the reigning champions Simba have now secured signatures of over 6 players in order to defend their championship and restructure their team following the departure of their stars including Machope and Walter Musona to the newly promoted PSL side Scottland.
