BEITBRIDGE — Beitbridge police have arrested four suspects, including a 16-year-old youth, in connection with a robbery that took place in Mutetengwe Village on October 9, 2025.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the suspects are Justin Muleya (21), Efficient Ndou (20), Rendani Ndou (20), and a 16-year-old juvenile.
They allegedly attacked a man who was walking home from the shops.
“The suspects sprayed the complainant with pepper spray before robbing him of ZAR 800 and USD 20,” the ZRP said in a statement posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Following investigations, police recovered a canister of pepper spray, two Okapi knives, a torch, and ZAR 150 in cash.
The four suspects are expected to appear in court soon.
