THE fun and entertainment bustling border town of Beitbridge roared to some variety of life Saturday night as Urban Drive played host to a high-fashion entertainment spectacle.
Pokello Nare was in town.
After a long pose from the social scene, local residents particularly the ladies turned out in massive numbers, “dressed to kill” for a night of funny elegance and music defined byhigh energy.
The festivities kicked off on a sophisticated note with a red-carpet reception.
The ladies seized the moment to pose for photographs on the red carpet with strategically placed bunners of Pokelo along a stylishly curated walkway, setting the stage for an evening where fashion was just as important as the music.
Before the heavy hitters took the spotlight, the atmosphere was kept electric by a lineup of talented local DJs and artists.
The seamless blend of hits kept the dance floor occupied well into the night.
The momentum shifted gears around 9:00 PM when Oriyano took to the stage.
Delivering a powerhouse performance, he immediately connected with the audience.
The crowd echoed every lyric, dancing in unison as he set a high bar for the performances to follow.
Following Oriyano, local favorite Mark Gee stepped up to represent Beitbridge. He did not disappoint, delivering a set that resonated deeply with the hometown crowd.
By the time the final act, Nyasha David, walked on stage, the excitement had reached a fever pitch.
David’s splendid vocal performance capped off the night, leaving the audience who had turned out in droves cheering for more.
