Musabyimana Gloriose, famously known as Gogo, has passed away in Kampala, Uganda, at the age of 36. The beloved gospel artist was celebrated for her uplifting songs of worship and praise, touching hearts across Rwanda and beyond.

Gogo fell ill shortly after arriving in Kampala for promotional activities following a series of concerts in Mbarara. Though initially thought to be a minor health issue, her condition worsened rapidly, and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at Kyegera Doctors Center.

Bikem wa Yesu, who managed Gogo’s media and promotional affairs, confirmed her passing, writing on social media:
“R.I.P Gogo, what terrible news! God, strengthen my heart.”

Gogo rose to fame with hits like “Every Day, I Need Blood of Jesus” and “Uwo Mwana”, and she was admired not only for her music but also for the educational messages she shared with her fans.

Born in 1989 in Rwamagana, Eastern Province, Gogo was a devoted member of the Anglican Church and tragically lost both parents at a young age. Her sudden passing leaves a huge void in the gospel music community.

May her soul rest in peace.
