Zimdancehall musician Hwindi President has expressed his gratitude for surviving a second car accident within a month.
The artist took to social media to reflect on his harrowing experiences, stating, “You may have the power to hurt people, but if God doesn’t want it, he doesn’t want it; it won’t happen.”
In a heartfelt message, he added, “I am a living testimony. Everything else doesn’t matter—the owner of the car can just fix it or pay for it if it can’t be repaired.”
Following the recent accident, Hwindi President remained unshaken, choosing instead to focus on what truly matters in life.
“I think breathing is important,” he said on his Facebook page, conveying his appreciation for being alive despite the ordeal.
The first accident occurred on October 13, 2024, when he was returning from the Lake October Festival in Masvingo. The vehicle involved in that crash belonged to a friend, as Hwindi President’s own car had been impounded by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) just days earlier, on October 28, 2024.
The most recent accident involved a black vehicle that ended up crashing into a barrier, severely damaging the driver’s side.
The impact crumpled the bonnet inward, exposing the engine. Hwindi President shared images of the badly damaged car, revealing the extent of the destruction.
Since October, the musician has lost three cars in total, but his spirit remains resilient as he continues to navigate the challenges that life throws his way.
