Popular comedian and finalist of 2024 America’s Got Talent (AGT) Learnmore Jonasi, is back home and is set to perform at the Shoko Festival today.
He announced his excitement on his Facebook page, uploading a flyer with the caption, “Harare!!! I will see you this week Thursday at Shoko Festival.”
Jonasi’s appearance at the festival will no doubt help him connect with his fans hows his appreciation for his fans who supported him while he was in America.
Before AGT, Jonasi had a small following in Zimbabwe and was not well-known internationally. He mentioned, “If it wasn’t for AGT, a lot of people wouldn’t have known about me or what I bring as a Zimbabwean comedian.”
His time on the show introduced him to millions of people around the world and helped him showcase Zimbabwean talent, blending local culture with humor that appealed to many different audiences.
Jonasi’s success has inspired many young comedians in Zimbabwe and sparked discussions about the importance of representation in the arts.
