Beitbridge — Donzvo Entertainment (Pvt) Ltd will host the second edition of the Beitbridge Superstar Talent Show on October 11, 2025 at Lutumba.

The event is a celebration of young talent, creativity, and community empowerment.

According to Shimron Sibanda, chief executive officer (CEO) of Donzvo Entertainment, the event aims to uplift young artists from rural areas while promoting equal opportunities for all.

“We decided to host the talent show at Lutumba to promote rising artists from rural areas, honor local talent, and give the community a sense of specialness. It’s time to balance benefits between urban and rural areas,” said Sibanda.

He said the annual show, which started last year, will rotate venues to reach more communities across Beitbridge.

Participation is open to all passionate music artists, but live instruments will not be allowed during performances.

Beyond entertainment, the show also carries a strong social message as part of a drug awareness campaign under the theme “Saying No to Drugs.”

Sibanda said the initiative promotes youth development through talent empowerment and education.

“By providing a platform for young people to showcase their talents, we encourage them to pursue their passions and create a positive impact in their communities,” he explained.

The winners will walk away with cash prizes for the top three positions, while the overall winner will receive a career-boosting management deal with Donzvo Entertainment including promotion, show bookings, and sponsorship support.

Sibanda urged parents and community leaders to rally behind the initiative.

“The message I have for parents and community leaders is: let us support local talent,” he said.

The Beitbridge Superstar Talent Show continues to grow as a platform that not only entertains but also empowers young people to make positive life choices and pursue their dreams.
