Lynoth Chikuhwa has won the season’s Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Golden Boot award 2024. The Highlanders striker took the gong ahead of the likes of Khama Billiat and Walter Musona.
He scored an impressive 17 goals ahead of Khama who scored 13 but more importantly failed to break the twenty goal mark that was last breached by the late Norman Maroto.
Last season, the golden boot winner was Takunda Benhura was thee golden boot winner with 13 goals while Chikuhwa only managed a mere three goals under the guidance of Coach Baltermar Brito.
The 2024 Soccer stars of the year are yet to be selected but it is clear Lynoth by virtue of being the top goal scorer will likely feature on the calendar barring any surprise, for the selectors have a penchant to surprise.
