Controversial socialite Malloti, has come forward to discuss her past, including criminal activities that led to her being placed on South Africa’s wanted list for an armed robbery case.

The issue recently gained traction when a screenshot surfaced from the South African Police Service (SAPS) website, displaying a warrant for Malloti’s arrest issued by the Wynberg Magistrate Court on January 19, 2018.

The warrant called for her apprehension on charges of armed robbery, which has raised eyebrows regarding her sudden prominence.

In an interview with DJ Ollah 7’s , Malloti openly detailed her involvement in crime while living in South Africa, admitting to crimes including armed robbery and fraud.

Until this revelation, she had largely remained silent regarding her criminal past, leading to curiosity and speculation among her followers and the public.

“I was implicated by friends who I was involved with in illegal activities, they’d end up doing unplanned deals, and because of pressure, they got arrested and then implicated me. After that, I got arrested too. When I got arrested, I struck a deal to become a state witness and then I got bail,” Malloti explained, recalling the day of her arrest.

Malloti disclosed her involvement in a major casino robbery, though she refrained from revealing the exact amount of money that was taken.

“We robbed a casino, but I don’t want to talk about that. It was a huge sum, and there were about 16 of us involved,” she stated.

Despite being out on bail, Malloti made a controversial choice not to return to court to testify as a state witness.

“I didn’t run away; I was bailed as a state witness. I had to escape from the gang because I was scared they would kill me since I was now testifying against them. I just didn’t go back to attend court,” she explained.

Malloti’s revelations have reignited discussions about crime and accountability in the region, adding complexity to her public persona as a socialite but also puts to bed the speculation which had surrounded a chapter of her past.
