PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa who is the First Secretary of ZANU (PF) has conferred a Liberation Hero status to the late Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services Assistant Commissioner Rever Mbedzi.
Mbedzi died on March 18 this year.
The announcement was made by the Zanu PF Secretary General Advocate Jacob Mudenda.
Mbedzi, who was Matebeleland South Deputy Commading Officer will be laid to rest at his home village at Malala on Saturday.
