ZIMBABWE women’s national team, Mighty Warriors goes into battle against Zambia at 1500hours this Tuesday in the match of the Three Nations Woman ‘s tournament at Bingu stadium, Malawi.

Following their impressive 2-1 victory against Malawi, the Mighty Warriors look to maintain their winning rhythm against Zambia Copper Queens , vying for a draw or win to secure the championship of the tournament.

The Zimbabwe Football Association is rallying behind the Mighty Warriors ahead of their clash with the Copper Queens, a match many football enthusiasts have dubbed the Zambezi derby.

“It’s final match day!. This afternoon in Lilongwe, our Mighty Warriors step onto the Bingu National Stadium turf to face Zambia at 3PM CAT and the energy is electric!, It’s all or nothing. Let’s rally behind our girls as they leave everything on that pitch. Drop your flags, your cheers, your “Go Mighty Warriors!. Today, we fight as one. Let’s go, Mighty Warriors,” ZIFA said in a statement.

The much anticipated Might Warriors – Cooper Queens fixture bringing the vibe, featuring Africa’s best women ‘s player Barbra Banda who captains the Copper Queens with pride.

They are looking to secure the championship, while Mighty Warriors will be looking to show case their best performance against a strong Zambian side for the coveted title.

Zambia’s Copper Queens are ranked 65th in the world and 4th in Africa, while Zimbabwe is ranked 130th in the world according to FIFA.
