SHOCK and awe has hit the Municipality of Beitbridge after one of their interns identified as Fadzai Bere was found dead in a case of suspected suicide.
The officer commanding Beitbridge Police District Chief Superintendent Mesuli Ncube confirmed the sudden death and said a lady was reported to have taken poison.
“We have a case of a lady suspected to have taken poison, I am not sure if she is from the Municipality of Beitbridge but we have such a report,” said Ncube.
MoB Town Clerk Loud Ramakgapola also confirmed the incident saying it was “very sad”.
“Very sad. Heard she was found dead.Not sure the cause,” said Ramakgapola.
Bere was a student of the Great Zimbabwe University in Masvingo and unconfirmed statements point to a passion suicide.
