Oakleigh House College has recorded an impressive performance in the November 2025 Cambridge and ZIMSEC Ordinary Level examinations, with its Form Four learners achieving results that significantly surpassed the national pass rate.

According to figures released by the school, 23 out of 28 candidates representing 82.1 percent passed at least five O Level subjects, the minimum requirement for progression to Advanced Level studies.

This compares favourably with the national O Level pass rate of about 35 percent, placing Oakleigh House well above the countrywide average.

Oakleigh House College is a private secondary school that offers both Cambridge and ZIMSEC curricula. Since its establishment, the institution has focused on building a learning environment anchored in academic discipline, close learner support and small class engagement guided by its motto Knowledge, Excellence and Power.

The results were announced to parents and guardians by school head Mr R Dube, who described the outcome as a reflection of discipline, perseverance and collective effort.

The school said they recorded a 100 percent pass rate in French, IsiZulu, Chishona, Biology, Accounting and Agriculture. Mathematics achieved a 93 percent pass rate, while Economics followed closely at 92 percent. Physics posted 90 percent, Chemistry 85 percent and English 80 percent.

Dube acknowledged parents and guardians as key partners in the learners’ success, saying sustained collaboration between home and school helped maintain discipline, motivation and academic focus.

The school has encouraged its successful candidates to carry the same level of commitment into the next phase of their education and has opened registrations for A Level studies.

As the Class of 2025 moves forward, Oakleigh House College said it remains focused on nurturing confident, capable learners while steadily strengthening its academic standing.
