Orlando Pirates effortlessly hammered a hapless Marumo Gallants side by 8-1 in the South Africa’s Betway Premiership match played at the Orlando Stadium.
The Buccaneers displayed an outstanding performance outclassing, Zimbabwean International’s Daniel Msendami Marumo Gallants by a record South African premiership margin.
The Buccaneers’ 8-1 victory equals the all time biggest PSL results since 1996 when SuperSport rolled past Thanda Rolay Zuluthe by 8-1 in 2004, on the other hand, Marumo recorded their biggest defeat in their league history.
Pirates is currently on position 2 behind the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns by three points while their opponents Marumo are hanging on position 12.
Elsewhere Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Amazulu 1-0 to remain on top of the Betway Premiership.
