Zimbabwe’s vice captain, Marshall Munetsi, is set to make a temporary return to the French Ligue 1 on a loan deal to newly-promoted Paris FC from Wolves.
Munetsi joined English Premier League side Wolves a year ago from Stade Reims.
Following the appointment of Rob Edwards as the new Wolves coach, Munetsi’s game time decreased, and a loan to Paris FC would make a great impact as Paris FC was reported to be scouring the market for a physical box-to-box midfielder, and they seem to have found their man.
Several reports last month suggested that the Zimbabwe international was not part of Edwards’ long-term plans and a loan move to the French side could be of benefit to him.
Paris is currently four points above Ligue 1 relegation zone and are looking to bolster their squad as they battle to secure top flight survival.
Munetsi has not made an appearance in the Wolves shirt for some time after picking up an injury, which led to his exclusion from the Zimbabwean squad that featured in the Africa Cup of Nations.
