President Emmerson Mnangagwa has moved has made two senior appointments to important commissions, in the Public Service Commission and the all important Land Commission, the key arm post land reform that is tasked with ensuring accountability, fairness and transparency in the administration of agricultural land that is vested in the State, to conduct periodical audits of agricultural land, to make recommendations to the Government regarding the use of that land in the country.
According to the communication delivered by the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Martin Rushwaya , the President has moved Dr Tsitsi Rosemary Choruma-Dozwa from the Public Service Commission.
“In terms of subsection (1)(b) of section 296 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, His Excellency the President, Cde. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has appointed Dr. Tsitsi Rosemary Choruma-Dozwa a Commissioner of the Zimbabwe Land Commission, with effect from Monday, 24th June, 2024.”
The post left by Dr Choruma will be filled by filled by Sibusisiwe Zembe noted the announcement.
“In terms of subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Service Act (Chapter 16:04) Sibusisiwe Zembe (nee) Nyoni has been appointed Secretary to the Public Service Commission with effect from Monday, 24 June 2024.”
