The Beitbridge-based Sundrive Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Honest Chenjerai, has been nominated among the top 40 young CEOs in Zimbabwe.

He was nominated by CEO Africa Around Table.

Chenjerai is the only young CEO from Matebeleland South nominated for the award.

Speaking to Ziyah News Network, Chenjerai beat his drum and said his nomination sends a strong message to young entrepreneurs in Matabeleland South, especially those from Beitbridge.

“This nomination alone sends a message to every young entrepreneur in Matabeleland South. It shows that we are growing and becoming a notable organisation,” Chenjerai said.

Chenjerai also said he hopes to bring the award home, like every other nominated individual, though the nomination itself reflects a lot on their brand as Sundrive.

Sundrive is famously known for hosting notable business summits and awards in the Matabeleland South province, notably in Beitbridge and Gwanda.

While hosting these various events, the organisation is also known for hosting various public figures such as the Vice President of Zimbabwe, Rtd Colonel Kembo Mohadi, South Africa’s actress Maumela Mahuwa, and Gabriel Temudzani, among others.

The public will nominate the outstanding young executives who are displaying leadership and delivering measurable impact within Zimbabwe’s economy.
