Contemporary music crooner Tocky Vibes has his new year kicking off in style after controversial and flamboyant business man Wicknell Chivayo gifted him a Mercedes Benz GLE350d 4matic.
The renowned artist famed for his hits like Mhai , Tocky aenda nenyika among others has joined the ever increasing list of beneficiaries of Wicknell’s benevolence which began soon after the 2023 harmonised elections.
Sir Wicknell Chivayo took to his social media to reveal that he has purchased a car for Tocky vibes, as a way of appreciating the artist‘s efforts, humility and dedication to preserve Zimbabwean culture and identity.

Chivayo also highlighted several songs that Tocky Vibes sang and inspired the young generation.
“Hit songs such as Mhai ,Tocky Ayenda nenyika ,Chamakuvangu ,Ndivhurei and usakande Mapfumo pasi connect with people on deeper level making them proud of their culture and hopeful for their future.Through music ,you have carried our ancestors ,teaching us to value our roots as we reach for the stars…,” added Wicknell.
The vehicle and cash gifting spree by Chivayo has become so common that It is no longer a surprise to the average Zimbabwean.He has targeted musicians, activist, actors and socialites in his gifting spree that has continued long after most people had predicted it’s epitaph.
