The Zimbabwe U19 men’s cricket national team will take on Scotland in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup on January 15, 2026, in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe has been drawn in Group B alongside Pakistan, England and Scotland.

Backed by the home crowd, Zimbabwe looks strong, poised to kick off the prestigious global tournament in style on their home soil.

After facing Scotland in the opening match, Zimbabwe will battle England on January 18 in their second match before locking horns with Pakistan on January 22 in their last group stage match.

Zimbabwe will be aiming to finish within the top 3 in their respective group. The tournament follows a unique format, wherein the top 3 teams from each group will qualify for the Super Six stage.

The qualifiers from Group A, which comprises India, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and the USA, will be joined by the qualifiers from Group D, namely South Africa, West Indies, Afghanistan, and Tanzania. Similarly, those from Zimbabwe’s Group B will be accompanied by teams from Group C in this round.

The following players Simbarashe Mudzengerere (captain) , Kian Blignaut, Michael Blignaut, Leeroy Chiwaula, Tatenda Chimugoro, Brendon Senzere, Nathaniel Hlabangana, Takudzwa Makoni, Panashe Mazai, Webster Madhidhi, Shelton Mazvitorera, Kupakwashe Muradzi, Brandon Ndiweni, Dhruv Patel and Benny Zuze will represent the Zimbabwean national team in the tournament.
