The Zimbabwe Football Association has issued a call for a registration exercise to capture all the coaches scheduled from December 5, 2024 to 28 February 2025. The call requires all coaches are to register at their respective provincial offices.
In a statement, ZIFA highlighted that the purpose of this registration is to create a comprehensive database of coaches in the country and assist the football mother body understands the training gaps for local coaches.
“ZIFA is calling on all the coaches to register at their respective provincial offices to create a comprehensive database. This data base will aid in needs analysis and coach education programming, registration period will start on December 5 ,2024 to February 28,2025,please visit your provincial offices during this period to complete your registration, ” said ZIFA in a statement reads.
The required information from coaches include, full names as they appear on the national ID and coaching credentials, ID number, contact and email address, educational and coaching qualifications.
Meanwhile in preparation for the upcoming CAF coaching courses, ZIFA has availed refresher courses are with selected topics that will equip the participants with information to improve their skills.
“Take advantage of the theses refresher courses to prepare for CAF course, enhance your coaching skills ,meet club licensing requirements, align your with CAF ‘s coaching programs…on level 1 coaches ,note that you will receive information about your refresher on January,” added ZIFA in its communication.
