AFTER a successful one year stint with Lynoth Chikuhwa, the 2025 champions Scottland FC have parted ways with the player.
Reigning champions Scottland FC have confirmed the departure of the profilic striker, citing that he is looking for a new challenge elsewhere.
“Thank you Lynoth Chikuhwa, Striker Lynoth Chikuhwa has left Scottland FC for a new challenge elsewhere. We would like to thank Chikuhwa for his contributions during last season’s Premier Soccer League debut campaign. We wish him all the best,” Scotland FC statement reads.
Chikuhwa joined Scotland FC following his remarkable 2024 season with Highlanders, where he recorded 17 goals and won the PSL Golden Boot. However, since joining Scotland, he has been struggling to find the back of the net.
Elsewhere, FC Platinum continues to bolster its technical team, as they have signed Warren Maoanga as their new goalkeeper coach, appointed Present Chivandire as the strength and conditioning coach, and Ashley Ndebele as head of performance analysis and set piece coach.
As the Premier Soccer League teams are still in their pre-season, they continue to bolster their squads, with some adding new players while others are losing key players, which could affect them in the upcoming season.
