PREMIER Soccer League returnees, Bulawayo Chiefs, have secured the signature of the prominent midfielder Melikhaya Ncube following his impressive stint at Highlanders FC.

The 28 year old midfielder, Melikhaya Ncube scored 5 goals and provided 2 assistS last season for fellow rival Bosso before securing a move to Bulawayo Chiefs ahead of the 2026.

The Bulawayo side confirmed the arrival of Melikhaya Ncube from Bosso.

“Player transfer update, Melikhaya Ncube (28 years) is now a Ninja” Bulawayo Chiefs stated.

Melikhaya Ncube becomes the 4th signing, joining the 14 year old, Dwayne Musona from Majesa Academy , 28 year old Brian Muza from Chicken Inn and Elvis Moyo from the reigning champions, Scottland FC.

Bulawayo Chiefs is securing signatures of various promising talents to strengthen their squad as they look to have a competitive squad in the 2026 season.

Elsewhere, following Melikhaya Ncube’s departure to Bulawayo Chiefs and Mason Mushore’s Move to the South African side, Amazulu, Highlanders FC have now lost two key midfielders ahead the 2026 season.
