Poultry farmers in Beitbridge are set to benefit from a free broiler management training programme.

This programme aims to improve the production, profitability and modern farming practices.

The training, organised by Charles Stewart Day Old Chicks in partnership with Profeeds and Red Box, will take place on 8 July 2026 at Vhembe High School from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

The session will be facilitated by poultry specialists James and Bhekinkosi.

The specialists are set to provide practical knowledge on broiler production, including flock management, nutrition, biosecurity, performance optimisation and strategies for increasing profits.

Organisers said the training is suitable for both experienced poultry producers and aspiring farmers looking to establish successful broiler enterprises.

Participants will also have an opportunity to interact with industry experts, ask questions on challenges affecting their operations, and network with fellow poultry farmers from across Beitbridge.

The organisers said the programme is designed to equip farmers with practical skills that can help improve bird performance, reduce losses and increase productivity in the growing poultry sector.

Admission to the training is free, although seating is limited. Farmers are encouraged to register in advance by contacting +263 77 804 8575.
