The Podcast Show With Uncle Dave Family officially launched its podcast on Sunday December 21, 2025, at Purple Hut in Beitbridge.
The podcast was founded by Cliff Dave, popularly known as Uncle Dave, who is the owner and host of the platform.
The event drew businesspeople, entertainers, community stakeholders, and youths, highlighting growing interest in digital media initiatives in the border town.
Speaking at the event, Dave outlined the podcast’s mission, vision, and goals, with a focus on unity and collaboration among the youth of Beitbridge.
“As youths of Beitbridge, we are together and we are there for each other,” he said.
He said the podcast seeks to provide a platform for dialogue, empowerment, and positive storytelling in the community.
Bishop B. Ncube, founder of Khayalethemba Orphanage in Beitbridge, delivered the keynote address.
He encouraged the PWUD Family to use the podcast as a tool for impact, mentorship, and community development.
Marvels Hardware chief executive officer Mr Tagwira also addressed the gathering, where he commended Cliff Dave for the initiative and encouraged him to remain focused and consistent.
“Consistency is key to achieving what you have set out to do,” said Tagwira.
The programme was chaired by Lloyd Miracles, popularly known as The Edutainer.
The launch marked a milestone for the PWUD Family, introducing the podcast as a new platform for youth engagement, entrepreneurship, and community-focused content in Beitbridge.
