A former executive member of Dulibadzimu United FC Mthandazo Tshuma has died.
News of his passing filtered into Beitbridge, the home of Dulibadzimu United, on Saturday morning ahead of the Zifa Central Region Division One fixture home against Sabi Gold Mine.
“Dulibadzimu United Football Club extends its deepest condolences to the family of the late Mthandazo Tshuma our former Executive member. We join the family in mourning a passionate and dedicated member fo the Beitbridge community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” read a statement from Christian Magwali, the chairman of Dulis.
Tshuma, a known football enthusiast who also supported Highlanders FC at national level was active in social soccer where he also was in the ranks of Mantengwane Social Soccer club at Beitbridge.
He was in the committee of Dulis in 2022 and was know for his contributions towards the well-being of players where he assisted raising funds from different groups of supporters.
Details are still sketchy as to where his funeral wake is but sources close to the late Tshuma said he had been unwell for some time.
