The much anticipated, CAF Champions league and Confederation Cup quarter-final draw will be conducted in Qatar’s capital Doha on February 20 2025.
CAF took their social media to highlight that the CAF Champions and Confederation Cup quarterfinals will take place in Doha, in partnership with the CAF media rights partner BeIN Sports EN.
“CAF Champions league and Confederation quarterfinals will be conducted in Qatar‘s capital Doha, in partnership with CAF media rights partner ,BeIN Sports EN on Thursday ,20 february 2025.the stage is set as we map out the exciting quarterfinals fixtures for both competitions …,”CAF stated.
The final draw will reveal each and every team’s opponent and also provide the dates for the quarterfinal matches.
The prestigious list of eight quarter-finalist includes, the defending champions Aly Ahly FC, Orlando Pirates ,ES Tunis ,Pyramids FC,Mamelodi Sundowns ,Al Hilal SC ,MC Alger and Asfar FC. While the Confederation Cup final eight consist of Simba SC, RS Berkane, USM Alger, Zamelek SC, CS Constantine, Stellenbosch FC, Al Masry SC and Asec Mimosas.
CAF and BeIN partnership once broke down when they were allegations of violating competitions rules in Eastern and Southern Africa however in 2023 ,just 2 months after the cancelation of the broadcasting deal , they recommitted to their partnership till present.
