THE remains of the late Cde Mutoyiwana Andres Nguluvhe have departed the Nyaradzo Funeral Services Parlour in Beitbridge Town on Friday for Tshapongwe Village in Beitbridge East, where he will be laid to rest on Saturday.
Family members, government officials and mourners gathered for a send-off service to bid farewell to the liberation war cadre, who was declared a Liberation War Hero by President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Wednesday following his death on Sunday evening at United Bulawayo Hospitals.
He was 91.
According to the funeral programme, family proceedings will take place from 0715 hours to 0830 hours, followed by the State Funeral service from 0830 hours to 1100 hours.
Cde Nguluvhe was the elder brother to the Minister of State for Matabeleland South and Devolution Honourable Albert Nguluvhe.
