TWO children from Chamnanga Village are helping police with investigations after they allegedly stabbed a man with an Okapi at Chamnanga Business Centre commonly called Chicago in New Year violence.
Another man was found stabbed in the chest at the Mazondo corner of Kwalu (SDP) suburb in urban Beitbridge.
Beitbridge Police said another man has been hospitalised after being stabbed at a businsss centre near Makhado on the highway from Beitbridge
“We had three attempted murder cases. The man from near Makhado has now gained consciousness at the hospital where all victims have been taken,” said the officer commanding Beitbridge police district Chief Superintendent Melusi Ncube.
Hs said police have gone to attend the case at Chicago where boys believed to be aged about 14 are accused of stabbing a man from Dimulomu.
Some people informed police after seeing the young suspects also believed to have had a gun.
The man at Mazondo was found lying down from his injuries and no arrest had been made.
The man stabbed at a business centre near Makhado had been rushed by ambulance to Beitbridge after the violent encounter said to have involved his employer.
“Generally apart from these three attempted murder cases the district was peaceful,” said Ncube.
Police aintained heavy presence at all trouble sports especually Lutumba where violence reigned supreme at Christmas.
