Zimdancehall musician Chillmaster has fired his manager, Brendon Hondo after discovering that he has been taking money for bookings without his knowledge.
Chillmaster, born Kudakwashe Gift Hombarume, is well known for his hit song Makanaka, is also the winner of the 2024 “Newcomer of the Year” award.
He has issued a public statement denouncing his former manager, Brendon Hondo, for fraudulent activities.
“Hondo has been taking money for bookings without my knowledge and has since disappeared. I am currently unaware of full extent of the bookings he made for unperformed shows,” said Musician Chillmaster.
He also announced that with effective immediately he is no longer working with Hondo and expressed regret for any inconvenience or disappointment this may have caused.
“I am committed to addressing this situation and ensuring that all affected parties are properly informed and compensated”
