The journey to secure continental glory at the AFCON U20 level continues as South Africa and Zambia seek  maximum points today in match day 3 of the continental showpiece.

South Africa  ‘s  Amajita lock horns with Sierra Leone at 1700hours,before  fellow  COSAFA nation Zambia battle it out against Tanzania at 2000hours.

South Africa will hope to secure maximum points to secure a quarterfinal spot, while Sierra Leone look to maintain its top spot.

Sierra Leone is on top of the group A with 7 points, ahead of the hosts Egypt with 4 points and South Africa with 3 points.

Zambia is second from last with 2 points ahead of Tanzania U20 with zero points so far.

The COSAFA duo will  be hoping to bring their A game in tonight’s fixtures and secure quarter final spots. South Africa is fighting for a second spot, while Zambia is fighting to be the third best to qualify to the quarter finals.

If they ecure quarter final  spots, they will have a shot at the semi final and a spot to be among the four African representatives at the FIFA U20 World Cup set to be held in Chile.

Sierra Leone U20 – South Africa U20 (5pm)
