Zimbabwean gospel singer Dorcas Moyo  has received two nominations at the CLIMA Africa Awards in the  Africa Indigenous Gospel Music Artiste of the Year and the second for Africa Outstanding Music Minister of the Year (Stage) categories.

In the indigenous Gospel Music Artiste of the Year, Moyo will be competing with talented artists from across Africa, including Winnie Mashaba, Janet Otieno,Chinyere Udoma, Sarah Apekeola and Azwi Kokela.

In her second nomination which is Africa Outstanding Minister of the year (stage), she will compete with different notable artist around Africa including Dare Justified,Lebo Sekgobela, Jimmy D Psalmist, Lilian Nneji, Lawrence Oyor.

The musician is naturally elated by the nominations.

“The nomination alone is enough for me.Thank you God, Extraordinary God….His name is called Wonderful…He also picks up the lowly and sets them among princes.”

The 2025 CLIMA Africa Awards are set to be held at The Maslow Hotel, Sandton Johannesburg in South Africa on the 5th of October 2025. The voting starts on 1 July and ends 31 of August.

Last year in October Dorcas Moyo scooped the  Africa Best Female Gospel Artiste of the Year award at the CLIMA Africa Awards 2024 ceremony held in Abuja, Nigeria.

The CLIMA Africa Awards recognise and celebrate individuals and organisations across various sectors, including music, leadership, and global citizenship.
