Ambitious Beitbridge gospel outfit, Art of Worship Choir is targeting to break new ground as the group set its sight on doing a live music recording of their 8 track debut album as a unit.

Ziyah News Network spoke to the leader of the outfit, David Hamad Duncan in an interview where he revealed the group’s bold plan for an outfit formed in 2023.

“We are currently in the process of planning to host a big event here in Beitbridge, we are forecasting for our first album recording that we will be recorded as a live recording at that event, our plan is to invite big names in Zimbabwe’s gospel industry, the likes of Michael Mahendere and Takesure Zama,” said Duncan

He also said theirs is mission to put Beitbridge on the musical map and ensure the message of hope and salvation reaches the people.

“As Art of worship choir we are planning to host big events here in Beitbridge by the grace of God. We are planning to do things that will put Beitbridge on a map when it comes to music and our mission is to make sure we deliver the message of hope to the people.  

Even though they have not recorded music officially, the group of 25 people has already started performing some of their songs delivered in different genres.

“We have different people who write songs and sing different genres so as a group that’s what makes us deliver our music under different beats and genres including afro gospel, amapiano, jazz, sungura, rhumba, rock and traditional gospel among others,” he added.
