The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has released the 2025 school calendar giving parents ample time to plan and prepare accordingly.
According to the released calendar signed off by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Moses Mhike, the first of the three school calendars will be the shortest with a total of 61 school days and it begins on the 14th of January 2025, ending on the 10th of April 2025. The ensuing vacation popularly referred to as the April school holiday will last a total of 32 days.
The second term will commence on the 13th of May running through to the Heroes month of August, closing on the 7th of that month. The last term of the year which will begin on the 9th of September and ending on the 4th of December 2024
