In a statement, the licencing authority effectively gave owners of such vehicles up to December 24 2024 to regularise their vehicles and avoid the impending mass deregistration.

“All vehicle owners are hereby advised of the impending deregistration of motor vehicles that have neither been licensed nor exempted for a period exceeding two years.”

According to the ZINARA statement, “motor vehicles owners are the one who affected by this exercise and are advised to approach the Central Vehicle Registry to regularize their vehicles or approach the Zimbabwe National Road Administration to clear their outstanding arrears,” said ZINARA
