FRESH details regarding the horrifying murder of Harare-based inDrive driver Brian Nandana, gathered by Ziyah News Network, reveal the prime suspect, Shepherd Severa, was once a Beitbridge resident..

Severa (34), accused of brutally killing his friend before allegedly sucking his blood and burying the body in a shallow grave at Warren Hills Cemetery, has become the centre of one of the country’s most disturbing murder investigations in recent years.

Now, investigations by Ziyah News Network have uncovered a possible Beitbridge connection.

An anonymous source who spoke to Ziyah News Network alleged that Severa once worked at a furniture shop located within the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) complex in Beitbridge.

Following the information , Ziyah News Network conducted a digital trace of Severa’s social media activity and discovered several posts and photographs linking him to the border town between 2023 and 2024.

In a number of the posts, Severa is seen wearing a distinctive blue gown while posing at the Beitbridge complex and inside the furniture shop where the source claimed he worked.

The same blue gown appears similar to the outfit seen in viral videos and pictures currently circulating online in which Severa is allegedly seen dancing alongside the now-deceased Brian Nandana.

Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed Severa’s arrest last week following the recovery of a blood-stained Toyota Aqua at Warren Hills Cemetery in Harare.

Severa later led detectives to a shallow grave where Brian Nandana’s body was discovered with severe injuries, including a deep cut on the neck.

The late Brian Nandana was laid to rest on Sunday at Glen Forest Memorial Park, where emotional family members, church congregants and friends gathered to bid farewell to the young man whose death has shaken the nation.

Meanwhile, investigations into the full circumstances surrounding the murder are continuing.

Ziyah News Network continues to follow the story closely.
