Maningi Youth Soccer Academy (MYSA) were in rampant form with a comprehensive victory over ragged ZRP Harare Queens on Saturday at Harare’s Alexandra Sports Club.

It was MYSA’s first win of the season after losing two first matches but ZRP poor form continues as they conceded seventeen goals in two matches.

MYSA head coach Gumisai Kutyauripo said he was happy with his team’s performance but warned his players not to relax because but work very hard so that team goals can be achieved this season.

”Today we played very well than our previous two games, we managed to score 3 goals in two matches then conceded ten goals so we should have to work very hard especially in defence, ‘said Kutyauripo.

ZRP Harare Queens gaffer Farai Guveya was a sad man after the dismal performance of his team but he believes the team can still improve.

”I am no longer using my first team since my former goalkeeper coach (Blessing Chari) fooled all our regular players and went with them to Centenary for a social game whilst we were preparing for this game,”Guveya said.

The ZRP Harare Queens coach attributed his team’s struggles to former goalkepeer’s Chari is behind his as he led eight players to go OWL making it very difficult for him to build a strong team to face Maningi Youth Soccer Academy.

ZRP Harare Queens will be facing MSU Queens on Saturday at Mkushi academy grounds in Harare while MYSA will be away in Mutare to face Mutare City Queens.

Maningi Youth Soccer Academy will be relocating to Ngoni stadium in Norton as their home ground from Alexandra Sports Club as of next month.
