Renowned South African artist Thandeka Ngema professionally known as Mawhoo has reacted to the hostile treatment of her cousin at Life Fourways Hospital.
Mawhoo took to her social media to voice against the poor service delivery by the private hospital.
“Life Fourways Hospital service is very poor , they treat people like dogs , I’ve never been embarrassed like that . Ey labantu ababazi abantu(these people they don’t know people) and it’s not the first time benza kanje(they do that) . My cousin is very sick she can barely breath , but instead they are rude and ignoring , entertaining the white couple who came after her. I’m still shocked because I thought private hospitals will assist fast , when we tell them ukuthi we need help , they said where are we rushing. Some people are so disrespectful. The only people they prioritise white people, I don’t wish anyone to experience this,” Mawhoo stated.
Fans flooded into her comment section showing support and some claiming that mistreatment is the order of the day at healthcare facility.
“You’re lucky because you are a celebrity you can complain on social media and everybody listens and feel pity for you or your family, but that’s the everyday reality of majority of South Africans,” a fan stated on comment section.
The Uthukela and Gucci hit maker ‘s claim against the Life Fourways Hospital allegedly for prioritising white people comes after South Africa has been accused of sidelining the white minority by the United States.
This could be a huge statement which shows that it’s actually the blacks that are sidelined daily in South Africa rather than whites.
