The Meteorological Department has warned the public of a heat wave from today until the 12th of March.
It is expected temperatures to rise as high as 41° and could result in adverse health conditions and sudden death. The Department is urging the public to take precautions and do the following:
- Drink a lot of fluids to stay hydrated
- Avoid prolonged stays in the sun
- Stay in the shade
- Wear Wide brimmed hats or use umbrella
