Manga was reported missing on Tuesday and his remains were later recovered at the Waterworks Stream near the Vhembe View suburb also known as Eastlea.
On Wednesday Solomon Katena, Manga’s coleague confirmed they were laying him at his final resting place.
“We are in the process of burying him as we speak. We travelled last night and we are almost done,” he said in a phone interview.
Manga reported missing by his family and friends is said to have been taken to a prayer place presided over by a man of the cloth identified as Madzibaba Wiselodge.
It was the last he was seen alive.
His remains were later found with a fractured skull and a stone believed the murder weapon.
He was in a kneeling position suggesting he died in prayer.
Madzibaba Wiselodge has not been seen since that day.
It is yet unclear whether it was a case of robbery but police on Tuesday said they suspected foul play and were investigating murder.
Beitbridge residents have been shaken by Manga’s death with some close to him describing him as a man who worked hard and was faithful.
