Coach Johhanes Ngodzo has extended his contract with the Central Region Soccer League Division One side, Gwanda Pirates FC, by one year.
The Gwanda side has confirmed that Ngodzo has extended his stay with the club as they vie for promotion to the 2026 PSL.
“The General Signs, Coach Tshisa Ngodzo renews contract, eyes PSL promotion in 2026. After a stellar debut season (3rd in Division One), we aim high. Squad assembly and CRSL prep underway,” Gwanda Pirates’ statement reads.
Johhanes Ngodzo joined Gwanda Pirates in the 2025 season and became their first coach in their first Division One appearance, also finishing third behind CRSL champions Hard Rock FC and Sheasham FC.
Elsewhere, Gwanda Pirates has parted ways with Rodwell Mhlanga as he looks to secure a new challenge elsewhere.
Gwanda Pirates FC is set to resume training and announce new signings on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, as they prepare for the 2026 season.
