Popular Nigerian musician and DJ, Nonso Temisan Ajufo, also known as DJ Big N, has narrowly escaped death after being robbed and shot in South Africa.

In a harrowing account posted on his Instagram, Big N recounted the traumatic experience that occurred on January 12th.

According to him, a night out with friends turned into a nightmare when his car was ambushed by two vehicles carrying six armed men with automatic rifles at a traffic light in Johannesburg.

Big N was shot in the leg during the chaos and was rushed to the hospital, where he miraculously survived after the bullet narrowly missed major arteries and bones.

Big N revealed that in the midst of the robbery, one of the attackers threatened to kill him if he didn’t hand over his valuables, including a watch and jewelry.

Despite being severely injured, Big N managed to escape and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The musician expressed gratitude for his life and credited his survival to divine intervention and his mother’s prayers.

“This experience is an unforgettable one for me, and I value life more now. I am committed to living more authentically and appreciating life without unnecessary stress,” Big N said.

In a surprising twist, the DJ used the opportunity to speak positively about South Africa, stating that he visited the country and didn’t let the horrific incident define his experience there.

“I met so many wonderful people in SA, and went to so many beautiful places…and like any other country, there would be bad eggs that paint the nation bad,” Big N concluded.
