A 19-year-old teenager from Mvurwi has succumbed to injuries sustained after an assault over a plate of Sadza.
The bow deceased, Allen Shambare, was assaulted at Abedine farm compound by two men, Shadrecka, aged 36, and his accomplice, Biggie Ndudzani. The assault, triggered by a dispute over a plate of sadza, resulted in the victim succumbing to his injuries at the scene.
Reason Shadrecka was arrested by the Police in Mvurwi for the fatal assault on 21 June 2025.
According to reports, Shadrecka allegedly teamed up with an accomplice, Biggie Nduzani, who remains at large, to assault the deceased. The assault reportedly involved the use of wooden logs and a stone which led to the tragic loss of the life at the scene.
